ASUS has unveiled its newest Republic of Gamers laptop, the R.O..G. G73Jh. This monster gaming laptop aims to “excite your visual senses with design cues inspired by the Lockheed F117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter.”
Under the hood, the G37Jh features an Intel Core i7 720QM processor with built-in overclocking capabilities, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and 8-channel HD audio. Asus also claims this is the first DirectX 11-compatible gaming laptop, using a single ATI Radeon HD5870 to power its graphics.
As you may expect from a gaming rig, the screen opts for more reality via a 17.3-inch display, with full 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.
Inside the taper lines of the R.O.G G73Jh dual 7200rpm 500GB drives store up to 1TB of your precious data, and Blu-ray drives come as standard.
To keep all those high-tech parts cool and running efficiently Asus claims to have created a unique cooling system that pulls in cool air through the front edge, and exhausts it through a rear vent, helping to keep the palm rest area and keyboard cool to the touch.
